Smile Make-over
A smile make-over is designed to give you the dazzling smile you deserve. It may involve treatments such as veneers, crowns, dental implants, and crown lengthening. No matter what treatments are used the results are the same, a most beautiful smile.
A smile make-over can be used to address any of the following problems:
- Stained or discolored teeth
- Crooked teeth
- Broken, chipped, or worn teeth
- Missing or poorly spaced teeth
A smile make-over may involve just one procedure or a combination of many procedures. The most popular smile make-over procedures are tooth whitening, porcelain veneers, and porcelain crowns.
Teeth Whitening.
In addition to in-office teeth whitening, we offer teeth whitening that can be completed in the comfort of your home
In Office:
We use the Philips Zoom system, which is a patented whitening gel and laser technology that results in dramatic whitening of the teeth.
Zoom is an In-Office whitening procedure uses a laser like beam of visible light to get teeth whiter. This is a chair-side tooth whitening procedure that utilizes a bleaching gel with a specially designed visible light. The procedure could last as long as twenty minutes to an hour. It is safe and effective. The gel releases nascent oxygen, which combines with the stain thereby whitening the teeth
At Home:
If you prefer to whiten your teeth in your own home, we can provide you with a take-home kit and a custom-made tray to wear at night or for just a few hours during the day.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are probably the most aesthetic means of creating a pleasing and beautiful smile. They are thin, custom made porcelain shells that cover the front surfaces of the teeth to improve appearance. They require a minimum amount of tooth reductions, approximately half a millimeter, and are there for a more conservative restoration than a crown.
Porcelain veneers are bonded to the teeth and allow us to change tooth shape, size, length, and color. They can correct discoloration, misalignment, or chipped teeth. They are not the only alternative for all aesthetic abnormalities but are a truly remarkable way to create beautiful smiles, close spaces, or whiten teeth.
Invisalign
Invisalign straightens teeth with customized aligners created specifically for each person. The clear aligners or trays are made of clear, flexible plastic and are worn over the teeth. Clear aligners work the same way traditional braces do by applying carefully controlled forces to teeth to move them into a better position.
Specialized computer software is used to design a plan for moving your teeth from their current positions into the best possible alignment. This movement is usually done in small steps until your teeth are straightened. For each stage, the patient receives a new set of trays, one to fit over your top teeth and one for the bottom.
There are many benefits of Invisalign including:
- No metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten.
- No food restrictions because you can remove the aligner while you eat.
- Easier to keep clean.
- You can brush and floss normally.
